Emma McCormick is a Northern Irish self taught and professionally trained 3D Artist. McCormick is successfully trained to work throughout the animation pipeline in both 2D and 3D mediums. Her passion, workmanship and creativity is best implemented as a Concept Artist, 3D Modeler, and Texture Artist.
A recent Ulster University graduate, McCormick already has experience working in the industry, working at Black North Studios and Lamb Films. McCormick also has experience as a freelance artist and has her own small company, “The Crafty Cat”.
McCormick’s love of film and animation has been apparent since a young age. Much of her childhood was spent watching films, playing games, drawing and painting, this passion and practice accelerated her artistic skills and McCormick went on to excel in subjects such as Art & Design and Moving Image. She has been commended on her editing eye and thoughtful compositions. McCormick is also a great collaborator having worked in teams throughout her university life and is known to take all criticisms and advice well and implement them into her work by making considerate and innovative changes when needed.
