HOW TO GET THE ELDERLY INVOLVED
Meeting was spent discussing the best ways to get the elderly involved in the project in a productive and fun way, we discussed…
Projects involving knitting and crochet usually get a few people involved, it teaches others new skills and it is amazing the sheer amount of work some groups create, in a relaxing and dun environment. We discussed them creating something simple like crochet shamrocks, they could then be used as a stop motion title sequence spelling out the letters etc, they could be used as easter eggs throughout the film and much more.
I personally, am very interested in…
A scene in the film will be of the elderly group discussing their childhood memories of St Patricks day in the Cathedral. I could Rotoscope this so that the people can see themselves in an animated form.
These skills could be used to model Downpatrick Streets, this could be helpful for those at MenShed to build the physical models of the town.
